November 20 every year is the "China Myocardial Infarction Treatment Day", which aims to raise public awareness and awareness of myocardial infarction. And PWH will establish the Chest Pain Centre (CPC) in first quarter of 2026. It will provide more education to the colleagues to understand the CPC via those promotion activities. Let us work together to protect the cardiovascular health of every citizen.
Objectives: :
To raise public awareness and awareness of myocardial infarction.
Methodology: :
PWH has organized a series of promotional activities to demonstrate our importance and concern for heart health and myocardial infarction. PWH set up a heart health promotion station on the first floor of the new building on the "Myocardial Infarction Treatment Day", which attracted many colleagues and members of the public to actively participate. The promotion station not only provided practical heart health information but also designed an interactive prize game to invite participants to identify abnormal ECGs and deepen everyone's understanding of heart diseases in a lively and interesting way. I was also present to cheer for the team and feel that everyone is paying great attention to heart health. In addition to the promotion booth, the cardiology team also produced three short videos on myocardial infarction prevention and care methods (linked below). These videos are in-depth, practical and easy to understand, and have been shared with community partners, hoping to further promote heart health awareness to every corner of the community and work together to build a healthier living environment. PWH will continue to provide more information about heart health and chest pain centres to colleagues.

Result & Outcome: :
Attracted many colleagues and members of the public to actively participate. Increased staff and public awareness of the importance of the CPC in PWH.
